Elgar is a very simple utility that works with the LinuxTV DVB drivers for premium Techno Trend / Hauppaugge cards (the ones with on board MPEG decoder chips). Elgar uses the chip to play back MPEG audio files (layer I and II). With a little help from toolame and madplay you can also play layer III (MP3) files.
